The Challenge

Cosmetic testing on animals was legal in many countries around the world, including Canada. The Body Shop tasked us with inspiring a new generation of conscious consumers to the brand by bringing them together in a collective call for an end to animal testing.


The Approach

We worked with the Body Shop to develop a campaign that tapped into the love Canadians have for animals by developing the Sign the PETition campaign for people to be Forever Against Animal Testing on behalf of their pets.


The Impact

Our campaign received over 1 Million signatures in Canada (and over 8,000,000 worldwide), and the Body Shop saw a 17% increase in sales during the in-store campaign activation period. All of our work was then used in the U.S., Australia and elsewhere around the world. In 2023, animal testing was officially banned in Canada, once and for all.
